The VR Summit 2026 Hackathon has found its home: this year’s hackathon will take place at TGW Bochum. The venue offers an inspiring environment for developers, designers, researchers, students, and XR enthusiasts to come together and build the future of virtual reality.

A New Home for XR Innovation

TGW Bochum provides the ideal setting for hands-on prototyping, interdisciplinary teamwork, and creative experimentation. During the hackathon, participants will turn ideas into working VR concepts, explore immersive applications, and push the boundaries of what XR can do.

From immersive health applications to gaming, education, simulation, and experimental VR concepts, the VRS Hackathon is where ideas become prototypes.
